WORLD IN CRISIS

Throughout the world, the year of 2020 has been a time of upheaval. Do we really understand what happened or what is the consequences to our future?

Rapidly marching towards the year end, I think that it is good timing to examine what happened and what is happening on the world stage in order to gain some clarity and understanding of what it means in the larger context of biblical prophecy and the ultimate God's purpose on earth. It is an absolute truth that none of these events just happened as a coincidence or in a vacuum, cut-off from divine involvement.

Since March the world went into a shutdown, presently we are seeing many nations again shutting down after emerging from that same crisis. It is our response to the threat of the projected millions of deaths as well as to contain the spread of the virus.

Millions of people are unemployed. Nations are mounting enormous medical efforts in order to test, deal and treat this new unknown virus for which there was no known vaccine or cure.

What the world is still learning is how to react to something much bigger that is the massive economic fallout. The reality confront us of a massive recession. Many aspects of the economy will be very slow to recover - if they ever do.

The damage has been done. The world cannot escape from the effect of ballooning debt which is incalculable at this point. Meantime, the world's strongest economy, USA and to an extent the rest of the world continue to defy and contradict the gravity of this economic theory.

Experts are still busy to determine the mental impact of the Covid-19 pandemic as well as the true economic and social disruption. Presently and growing again, the quarantine of families and the schools shutdown have open a can of worms leading to conditions where the abuse of women, the elderly and the children can occur without detection. It is not strange at all, then, that health officials expect the increase in suicide and mental disorders from adolescent to middle age citizens.

It is a fact that this virus originated from China. It is also a fact that the Chinese government has denied the danger and just watched as the Chinese tourists, businessmen and workers spread the same virus around the world. Is there any hidden agenda? In my humble opinion, I think there is. My question is to what extent will China leverage this crisis as it continues the inertia to achieve domination not only in Asia, but the Middle East as well as the United States. There is no secret, China wants to become world number one. If this is achieved, make no mistake it will be a major crisis not only for America, Europe, the rest of Asia, but for the whole world.

Will China dominate?

It is no secret that China is the most rapidly growing military power in the world today. It has recently attained the goal of building the world's largest navy. It is a possibility that in the next generation China could be the world's dominant power. In order to achieve this, it has to grow their military bases worldwide, which by contrast the United States are superior. The goal is to surpass the USA.

These facts have a destabilising effect and influence in Asia and the Western areas where China is expanding.

Not so long ago, China clamped down on Hong Kong imposing changes to law that make any dissent against the Communist Party a crime. Have you noticed that this has been done with extreme efficiency to the point where protests in Hong Kong almost disappeared. The random protests are done under the watchful eye of the authorities which will not stop at strict punitive measures.

Make no mistake, Taiwan will be next. In spite of all agreements with the United States, Taiwan is going to be invaded by the Chinese. It is imperative to the Chinese plan because in doing so, they will keep the America's navy at bay by taking out the USA bases. This threat could very well succeed.

What has the world done while they took over Hong Kong? Again, other nations will stand by and do nothing while they annex Taiwan. This will catapult an immense crisis for all Asia nations as well as the USA dominance in the region. (to be continued ...)
