Valdemar Marques (nickname Walter),  graduated with a Bachelor of Theology from the University of South Africa in 1991 while running his own businesses since 1977,  mainly in the service industry. He mastered a Financial services course with Pioneer International and became an International Financial Consultant. Valdemar worked for the South African Department of Foreign Affairs in the early nineties, on a consulting basis. As  Communications Specialist and as a Supreme Court Translator, he was the personal translator of the President and the Director General of Foreign Affairs of the South African government in the 'peace talks' with Angola, and in the restoration of the relations between the two countries.  He was also involved in the peace relations between the ruling and the opposing parties in Mozambique. Valdemar was the official interpreter of the meeting between the South African and Portuguese Presidents, De Klerk and Soares respectively.                      During his professional career, Valdemar has translated in both Portuguese and English languages various official and legal documents for several International companies such as Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Kentz Engineers & Constructors, Deloitte & Touche, Murray & Roberts Construction, Adams & Adams to name a few.    

With his business and financial background he has been used as a Motivational Speaker for various businesses  enterprises.                          By 2013, Valdemar completed his Master of Arts and Doctor of Arts in Theology from Mckinley University,  Washington,  USA.                            Valdemar grew up among many Christian books and in a Christian environment. Factors that contributed significantly for his formation and the elaboration of his dream to write books.
