THIS ONE QUESTION CHANGES EVERYTHING

What do you believe is the single most important question you need to have answered?

Is it one of the following:1. “Does God exist?” 

2. “Why does the universe exist?” 

3. “What is the meaning of my existence?”

All these questions are vital to know the answers to. But I would say there is another question of equal, if not greater, importance. The answer to this question is not found in the way you might answer the three questions asked above. The answer to this question comes after you prove the above three, and goes deeper to the very reality of all life. What is that question? Let me first tell you how I came to this understanding. Every time I study, write or talk about the nature of God, I go through scriptures that reveal who and what God is. I study what other religions teach. When I’m done - and it takes longer each year to cover this subject – I have a much more thorough understanding of God. I get serious about God, and I try to pass that conviction on to my readers, friends and family. The past few years I have been struck by comments from everyone mentioned above, which show that they too want to understand this most important question. They come to my articles, blogs or simply discussions believing there is a God. They have a general knowledge of the meaning of the cosmos and the purpose for human life. They know humans are created in the image of God, not the result of evolutionary development. So, what is the most important question you should know?It is found in this scripture: “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent” (John 17:3).

 At the heart of everything lies one essential question: Do you truly know God in a relationship that shapes your entire existence?Jesus said here that to know God is the essence of eternal life. Eternal life is the gift God holds out to the human creation. It is life at the highest level of satisfaction and contentment now in this physical life, and then a miraculous resurrection where in this mortal life takes on immortality. After years of discussing this subject I have concluded that this is the most important question to challenge all my readers, friends and family with. It is the starting point from which we approach all other knowledge and experience. To know “the only true God, and Jesus Christ” is the core.

Get this right and everything else about this life makes sense.
