The world needs to be rescued

Seven fast and furious developments leading to global destruction

That's reality. Let's not fool ourselves. The way in which the world is fast developing, it has created a number of existential threats which are leading mankind to the perilous situation of destruction. It is a fact that the world is sliding into chaos, right before our eyes and it is also a fact that these events are combining to plunge the world into a holocaust of destruction and death such has never seen before - and never shall again!

These are events leading to "end times' prophesied in the Scriptures when all these will be stopped in their tracks by a returning Jesus Christ.

God is in control and it is all part of His plan. He will not allow these great dangers spreading around the world to destroy humanity. Instead Jesus Christ will return and save us from ourselves.

We live in a time that can be called the technological age - a period of stunning discoveries, constant scientific breakthroughs and yet appalling and frightening evils.

What does this mean? Where is all of this headed? What does the Bible say about it?

Similarly to the Greek mythical story of Pandora, who was sent to earth as the first mortal woman, by the gods as punishment for the theft of fire by Prometheus and brought with her a box (Pandora's box) containing all human ills and when in curiosity she opened the forbidden box of secrets and unleashed destructive plagues into the world, we see the scientific world delving unrestrained, whether out of curiosity or the pursuit of fame or profit, into more perilous fields of scientific endeavour. Funny and ironically, only Hope was left at the bottom of the box.

It is a reality that Internet now connects the world and the pace which all new discoveries and scientific progress is mind - blowing. It is so fast that it's snow - balling effect accompanies tremendous dangers to humanity and the world.

It is also a reality that in this time of tremendous progress, there is also great moral and spiritual regression. Now, more than ever, we must protect ourselves and our families from the perils around us.

The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists commented this year: "

One of the purposes of the Bulletin was to respond and offer solutions to the ‘Pandora’s box of modern science, recognizing the speed at which technological advancement was occurring, and the demanding questions it would present". (2017 Doomsday Clock Statement, University of Chicago)

With that in mind, we have to realize and take a more 'in depth look' at seven modern dangers that, if unchecked and ignored, could bring destruction to human civilization. These seven menaces, among others, are converging and producing a harmful multiplier effect on society. Indeed, all seems too far gone on a runaway course, so that only God can save us.
