I read somewhere recently by a prominent European news analyst, where he commented that both of the principal Anglo-Saxon countries, the United States of America and the United Kingdom, are both in a state of chaos. Both countries are experiencing political and cultural turmoil which threatens their pole positions as well as their loss in their standing among the nations of the world.
Bible prophecy shows the world is heading toward an 'end-time' global order destined to stun the world with its power and wealth, in which there will be no Britain or America.
The world continues to spiral out of control, and most of the people wonder if we will ever see lasting peace.
World's different societies continue to ignore the underlying reality of our existence and drifts further from God and true values.
It is obvious that history is returning!
The population of the world has lived inside the bubble of the liberal world order for so long now that we have forgotten what that world really looks like.
Various studies show how shocking authoritarianism is creeping into the democracies of the world than ever before. Contemporary autocrats have mastered the art of subverting electoral standards without breaking their democratic façade completely.
Billions will be swept up in this coming authoritarian system that will bring tragic consequences but will be destroyed by the triumphant, returning Jesus Christ.
Author Robert Kagan wrote 'the jungle is growing back'. Our way of life has become brutal, dictatorial, war-torn, feeling the fast increasing natural disasters, pandemics, immorality, crime, violence, poverty, political corruption, sickness and disease, famine and starvation. All of these are stalking the earth in fast-increasing acceleration. These facts are combining to plunge the world into a holocaust of destruction and death such as never seen before - and never shall again!
This is the 'way of life', that has filled most of human history.
When Christ returns, nations will no longer prey on others for their people and resources as they have for millennia. Rather, everything will change!
In a world of despair, hope is real. Facing the horror of crucifixion, Jesus said, "in the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
