WRONG IS RIGHT AND RIGHT IS WRONG

We are living in a time when wrong is right, and right is wrong. Everything is backwards.
It’s not hard to see that much of the world seems to have gone crazy. Are you constantly amazed and shocked by the level of sin and immorality that you see around you? Even common sense seems not to be so common any longer.
We live in a world that is constantly barraging us with temptations and distractions. Every minute of every day we have to make choices. We have to choose to do right or do wrong.
As the world has very openly rejected God and His truth, the downhill slide of immorality seems to be accelerating. This is to be expected when God is driven out of every aspect of our societies and cultures.
It’s not usually complicated. We make the choice to do what pleases God, or we choose to do what pleases our flesh.
So much of what we see, hear and read today is contrary to the Word of God.
TV, movies, radio, websites, social media and so many other outlets are straying further and further from the truth of God’s word and accepting just about anything that anyone suggests, as long as it feels good or makes others feel accepted.
No matter what it is, no matter how ridiculous it might seem, we are told that it’s OK.
I think that it is also appropriate to mention the fact that we are living in an age that measures people's worth by how much they make.
The vast majority of these things are blatantly in contrast to God’s Word. Yet, even many people who profess to be followers of Christ are embracing them, accepting them, and even promoting them as truth.
It’s time to recognize right and wrong again, as God’s word has taught us. And it’s time to stand for truth and righteousness again, even when it’s not popular.
A Godless society is destined to fall very deep into darkness and depravity. Hence, the things we see today in very large numbers around the globe.
When this happens, we begin to see levels of sin and depravity that we may never have imagined could be so. And these very people eventually reap the results of their behavior.
You see, God offers His mercy to us freely. But when man largely rejects Him and His goodness over and over again, He will eventually give them over to the very things that they pursue; idolatry, murder, lust, greed, etc.
It’s critical that we speak truth, in love, to bring light and accountability to this lost and dying world, to those who have lost their way and are wandering in darkness.
You see, the enemy has chipped away at Biblical morals and the wisdom of God, causing even people who were once believers in sound doctrine to question the very foundation that their lives were built upon.
But God’s Word says that we are without excuse. We cannot justify this by any means whatsoever; not political, not social, not anything.
God is God, and His Word stands. It is truth that doesn’t change from one generation to the next. It does not bend to suit our desires or our changing ideologies. God’s truth is truth, no matter how many ways some might try to make it seem otherwise.
John 8:32 (NKJV) "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Jesus Himself is the truth that sets us free. He is the source of truth, the perfect standard of what is right. He free us from continued slavery to sin, from self-deception and from deception by Satan. He shows us clearly the way to eternal life with God. Thus Jesus does not give us freedom to do what we want but freedom to follow God. As we seek to follow God, Jesus perfect truth frees us to be all that God meant us to be.
To end this topic, I find it extremely important to mention once more that this is definitely not a political message. It is not a message of condemnation. It is a message of light, love and hope, that we will return to where God wants us to be.
We need to stay at our post, standing guard over the truth, and not backing down when the onslaught of the enemy comes in like a flood.
