(part 2)

After all these statistics, one cannot but ask to himself, why is there so much terrorism and violence? What is happening in the world? Where is this all leading?

Apocalypse unfolding now in front of our very own eyes. Yes, prophecy comes alive.

We are in a time of shaking. Let's not be fools and understand that we are living in these times. There is a coming revival which is being prepared by God Himself.

Let me quote an extract from my next book which is in editing phase:

"It's obvious then that the enemy, the archangel cherub named Lucifer, which power was next to God's, however, without a 'fixed character', in the very beginning of creation, which by his choice, and by using his faculties of thinking and reasoning, thought that would be better for him to 'take' and 'possess' than to 'give'. Lust and greed was better for him than giving and serving. He concluded that jealousy and envy were better than tolerance and out-going love. He decided that competition, even leading to strife, violence and war, was better than generosity and cooperation. He decided to rebel against God and God's government. He persuaded his angels into his philosophy of 'getting' instead of God's way of 'giving'.

The government of God was rebelled against, rejected, no longer in force on the earth. Lucifer and his angels swept on up to God's heaven - universe seat of government - in an invasion, attempting to dislodge God from His throne and take over the entire universe. It had been God's intention to give them that anyway, had they qualified under god's government to get the job done the only way it could be done.

As a result, they were thrust back down to earth, disqualified - with God's government - dissolved from earth. Instead of order, there was anarchy. Destruction came to the face of the earth and all the planets as a result of rebellion.

Instead of light, darkness came. All the planets of the universe came into a state of chaos and decay, waste and emptiness."

Naturally, the enemy does not want this revival to happen. Everywhere you look, people seem to be in fear. Terrorism itself inflicts fear upon people and it can get us out of God's perfect peace.

Luke 21:26 says the following, Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming to the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken."

Jesus, Himself, said that people would suffer from heart failure due to fear. This is happening right now. He said in 1 Corinthians 13:13 that "It is important to remove fear from our lives and instead be filled with the Holy Spirit and faith, hope and love."

Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline."

Paul was writing to Timothy and telling him that we have to be bold. When we allow people to intimidate us, we neutralize our effectiveness for God.

As we cast out fear and replace it with love, we will receive a sound mind. Many people are suffering from mental illness, causing them to act out in violence. This is from a lack of love and allowing fear to overpower us.

The reality is that Lucifer, or Satan as is most known, is the god of this age. (2 Corinthians 4:4)

Satan is the driving force behind hatred and conflict. And Scripture reveals that, leading up to the return of Christ, both ethnic and national conflicts will increase to the point of driving people and nations toward WWIII. But there is hope!

Scripture also reveals hope beyond the conflict.

Chapter 24 of Mathew, Jesus teaches about the future and He says in verses 6 and 7 the following: "You will hear of wars and rumours of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places."

In my book 'Apocalypse Unfolding now', I explain that the Greek word for nation is 'ethnos', and refers to a people, race or ethnic group; whereas the Greek word for kingdom is 'basileia', which refers to a political state.

It is very clear then that at the end of the age there will be increased violence between both political states and ethnic groups.

Genesis 6:5, pinpoints the fact about the state of society at the end of the age, which God saw how great man's wickedness on the earth would become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.

While the attitudes and conflicts of society will intensify, the Bible is also very clear who the international end players will be.
