THE TRUTH ABOUT EASTER

(PART 5)
(... continued from Part 4) FINAL PART
What then?
"Easter" is one of the names of the pagan goddess, who Satan used to deceive the world and whose religion has caused suffering and misery. Semiramis was clearly a false goddess, and her son Tammuz was an anti-Messiah, a false messiah (Christ) that has deceived millions.
It is not difficult to discern the deception that Satan (the adversary) has successfully brought into the Church. The seductive symbols of pagan religion has been incorporated into people's lives, even to this day - continuing to obscure the truth of God. From the passages in Jeremiah & Ezekiel, we can see the God does not approve of the mixing of True worship of God and false, pagan, gods.
What has light to do with darkness, or Holiness with the unholy?
Should Believers celebrate Messiah's resurrection, the most important of all holy days, by trying to redefine a Satanic celebration?. It seems obvious that it would have been a better if Church had not attempted to "Christianize" this pagan celebration.
The true day of Messiah's resurrection has been known from the beginning, and is accurately stated in scripture. Nissan 17, the feast of First Fruits, celebrated 3 days after Passover, is that day. For Messiah was truly the first fruits of God!
By now, the readers of this blog (study) should have made the connection that paganism has infiltrated the contemporary "Christian" churches, and further study indicates that this paganism came in by way of the Roman Catholic System.
The truth is that Easter has nothing whatsoever to do with the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We also know that Easter can be as much as three weeks away from the Passover, because the pagan holiday is always set as the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox.
Some have wondered why the word "Easter" is in the King James Bible.
Actually it is because Acts, chapter 12, tells us that it was the evil King Herod, who was planning to celebrate Easter, and not the Christians.
The true Passover and pagan Easter sometimes coincide, but in some years, they are a great distance apart.
John 4:24 says the following: "God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and truth."
David Meyer from (Last Trumpet Ministries International), in the article 'The Pagan Origin of Easter' says that the 'truth is that the forty days of Lent, eggs, rabbits, hot cross buns and the Easter ham have everything to do with the ancient pagan religion of Mystery Babylon. These are all antichrist activities!
Satan is a master deceiver, and has filled the lives of well-meaning, professing Christians with idolatry.
These things bring the wrath of God upon children of disobedience, who try to make pagan customs of Baal worship Christian.
You must answer for your activities and for what you teach your children.
These customs of Easter honour Baal, who is also Satan, and is still worshipped as the "Rising Sun" and his house is the "House of the Rising Sun."
How many churches have "sunrise services" on Ishtar's day and face the rising sun in the East?
How many will use coloured eggs and rabbit stories, as they did in ancient Babylon.
These things are no joke, any more than Judgement day is a joke'.
Resurrection
The words of the angel of God, who so startled the women at the empty tomb, are proven true: “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said” (Matthew 28:5-6, New International Version).
The angel who announced the good news of the resurrection to the women gave then 4 messages.
* Do not be afraid. The reality of the resurrection brings joy, not fear. When we are afraid, we must remember the empty tomb.
* He is not here. Jesus is not dead and is not to be looked for among the dead. He is alive, with His people.
* Come and see. The women could check the evidence themselves. The tomb was empty then, and it is empty today. The resurrection is a historical fact.
* Go quickly and tell. They were to spread the joy of the resurrection. It is our duty, then, to spread the great news about Jesus' resurrection.
Jesus' resurrection is the key to the Christian faith. Why?
* Just as He promised, Jesus rose from the dead, which give us confidence, therefore, that He will accomplish all that He has promised.
* Jesus' bodily resurrection shows us that the living Christ is ruler of God's eternal Kingdom, not a false prophet or an impostor.
* We can be certain of our resurrection because He was resurrected. Death is not the end - there is future life.
* The power that brought Jesus back to life is available to us to bring our spiritually dead selves back to life.
* The resurrection is the basis for the church's witness to the world. Jesus is more than just a human leader; He is the Son of God.
If we read the rest of Mathew 28, we are able to realize that Jesus' resurrection was already causing a great stir in Jerusalem.
A group of women was moving quickly through the streets, looking for the disciples to tell them the amazing news that Jesus was alive. At the same time, a group of religious leaders was plotting how to cover up the resurrection.
Today there is still a great stir over the resurrection, and there are still only two choices - to believe that Jesus rose from the dead, or to be closed to the truth - denying it, ignoring it, or trying to explain it away.
Let’s not cling to religious traditions and ideas that aren’t supported by Scripture. Be sure that your own beliefs and practices are firmly rooted in the Bible. I leave you with this question: 'Are you willing to make a commitment to worship God according to biblical truth rather than human tradition?'
